Recomnds (Refresh Community Niceness of Discussion Score, pronounced "recommends") is a community feature built into Helios Calendar that allows public calendar users to democratically assist administrators in policing user generated content.

How it Works
- User A posts an "inappropriate" Comment.
- User's B, C, etc view the comment, identify it as inappropriate and click the icon to reduce the comment's Recomnds.
- When a comment's Recomnds drops below the threshold set by the Helios Calendar administrators it's content is hidden by default when subsequent users view the event and scroll through it's comments.
- Users who want to view "inappropriate" comment's can click the "Show this Comment" link, showing the comment.
All comments, including those with a Recomnds below the threshold set for that Helios install have their their current score displayed allowing users to identify both "good" and "bad" comments more quickly.
Note: Inappropriate will be defined differently for every calendar and every user, it could include comments unrelated to the event being discussed, a comment that does not constructively contribute to the conversation or comments of an undesirable nature (profanity, insults, argument, etc).
Recomnds Threshold
Administrators with Settings privileges may set the Recomnds Threshold within the Helios Calendar Settings.
Contribution Limit
Each user may only "vote" to influence a Comment's Recomnds once.
Administration of User's Submitted Recomnds
To view an individual user's cumulative Recomnds score (for all comments they've submitted) you can edit the user's account.
When an administrator deletes or bans a public calendar user their contributed Recomnds are deleted and all comments they've affected have their Recomnds updated to entirely remove the users affect on the calendar.
